You cant give a more helpfull post then "start fro mthe bottom." ? If you look closley the picture makes no sense in addition to one of the textures being missed named and the other not existing in Max...

I would like to know if Grass-O-Matic will function with 3D Studio Max 7. I have tryed to use it and it has a error wene loading plugins. I would love to try the plugin it looks like it makes very nice grass scenes. I am also a noobie teaching my self 3D Moddeling and may be putting plugin in the wrong place. I have tryed putting it in Plugins folder. Please help thanks.
P.S. I have done the tutoriaal up to point of grass-O-Matic part very nicely done. Can't wait to see fully done. :yaya:

Thumbs up Pectabyte

Pectabyte the way I did it was I opened my maps rollout and clicked the Defuse Map button and selected mix. In the mix amout map button I put the noise map and entered the requierd peramiters then in the color 1 map button I put my grass1 bitmap in the color 2 map button I put the grass2 bitmap then I saved the new map in my material library then I selected a new material button I again selected the defuse map button in the maps rollout I put the black and white bit map of the ground in the mix amout button in color 1 button I placed the grass I created in the previous mix Inthe color 2 I put the dirt bitmap. after all this you should end up with the grass map like the pic on top. Hope this helps It worked for me. I am sorry for pore writing I am no good at directions LOL. Have fun.

Was there ever an answer for this? Will there ever be a plugin for 3D Studio Max 7?
