Brazil Render

Hi,
I went through your tutorial "Basic Car Rendering Setup with Brazil". In fact I did it several times because I'm afraid I am missing out on something.
The examples at the end of the tutorial show several cars with a "visible interior" and that is what I can NOT get with Brazil. When I render using Max's default scanline render machine I have a "Clear" view on the inside, but the moment I render with Brazil the interior gets very dark, allmost black. I used a double sided material with the car-paint as outside mat and a nearly white for the inside mat ... nevertheless the interior remains black.
Could you please give me some advice on this matter? Thanks and Regards. Eddy.
