Hallo ,may i ask how can open ".3ds" format?

Just import it. Please read the 3DS Max manual, or search before you ask.

you open max. then you go up to files. down on import. there you serch the hardware and when you find the .3ds file, dubbel klick on it. putt the opinons on merge curent scene if your importing to an already project:)
