Hello, nice tutorial.
I tried to do it, but it was not like that.
Could provide the final file? If possible also HDRI.
Thanks :)

Rendering Issues

For some reason, when I go to render the final product, it only renders a black screen. I have followed the instructions to the best of my ability and cant get a rendered finished product.
Might anyone have a clue as to what is going wrong?

I figured it out.

For some reason, when using the V-ray renderer, you must set your own lights. It's a complete pain in the ars when you are a complete novice like myself but after a few tutorials and a but of messing around, I did manage to get a final product. Not quite what was shown in the tutorial, but cool none the less. If you have the funds, I recommend having a look at Lynda(.)com. They have extensive video tutorials dedicated to teaching from the ground up.

I apologize if I have broken the rules of this forums by posing a link to another website in advance. Only reason I have done so is because I could not find exactly what I needed here and because Lynda(.)com is one of the best sites I have found as of yet for teaching 3ds max.

Have you try add any lights to scene? Just add VRay light around 3 amount or play with values.
