Very useful, thank you! That cloth function looks very powerful. Is there a similar function in 3DS Max?

Ive been following this tutorial but have gotten stuck. On page 3 you state "once you selected the curves go to cloth shelve and then hit (Create Panel)..."
Now Ive made a presumption that it is refering to the nCloth shelf (though I clearly think Im wrong here). However the icons on the shelf look nothing like those in the picture of the tutorial and neither do any of the other shelves I have available. So is there another cloth shelf? and if so where can I locate it? If not how do I achieve what I need to do? Ive tried using the first icon on the nCloth shelf but it does nothing that I can see. The picture on the tutorial shows a green icon on the shelf which looks like a green rectangle with a curve in the top. This symbol is reproduced on the object once it is used. Can someone enlighten me please?

A little late in the game here, but thanks for the tut! It was much simpler than the method I was using to make clothes.

One thing I noted though, in step 34 it shows the solver scale as 1, for all the attempts I made at this, the cloth wouldn't hug the body right without a solver scale: 100 ~

It looks like Maya 2009 doesn't have CP Cloth plug-in. If not, where can I find the similar tools like stitching, etc?

it just depends how much money u want to spend and what stores you have in your area. I personlly really really line the cannon rebel xsi series. check them out. if you have a best buy around you should be able to get it there
