ASCENT OF FERRARI
Jomar Machado

I've modeled four cars for the Shell-Ferrari 60 years of partnership publicity campaign. It would be very difficult to do it photographically in the needed time.

They were the Ferrari F500 (1952), The Shark Nose (1961)
and the Ferrari S125, the first one Ferrari to win an race car (1947).
They were some of the Ferrari cars, together with Shell, that wrote the Formula 1 history.

Later they choose only 3 models(market decisions) to be part of the whole campaign.
They received the approval of Ferrari specialists in England and Italy.(Thanks GOD!)

The advertising pieces were more than 100 produced and some of them are shown in my site:
Jomar Machado

Jomar Machado is a freelancer artist working in his home office.
He worked for 6 years with McCann Erickson
before working 17 years with Thompson at their office in Rio de Janeiro.

In 2003 he went to work at StudioH where he stayed until 2005.
He has seen and lived the transition from brushes to mouses.
