here is a render of the wheel (from the tutorial) just added with a tire. i modelled this in gmax and 3dsmax (with help from Chris89) it was originally rendered in bryce and i finished it in adobe photoshop. well tell me what you think. im still a noob though...

It certinaly looks good when it is finnished, but it is 6000+ polygons. You can't use that in any game i know.

hi all
i have a question about this tutorials
i'm am new to 3d max so i don't really understand all things
i have made the cylinder and i have coverted to a editable mesh and now i have to select 5 sides but i can only select 1 if i click te second one the othere one deslects :confused:
can sombody help me ?

if you use 3ds max hold on to Ctrl wen you klikk on the next side. an in Maya i think it was the butten over Ctrl and under caps lock. dont remeber what the name was. (maybe shift =D i think)
