Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Hey everyone... This is the first tutorial ive ever done in 3ds max, Ive never used it before. Ill attach my car here... Can anyone please tell me if it looks alright for the first thing that ive ever done?? Cos It looks dodgy to me, and everyone will probably laugh :( but anyway yeah my friend said that I cant be good straight away and he says its alright for a first shot, but I need some 3ds professionals opinions ;). And it was a great tutorial!!! It was fairly easy to follow, and I only got a stuck a few times but i figured out what to do. The lights are very dodgy, I probably could have done a better job... But yeah. The windows suck too (the ones on the doors) and the whole door sucks and yeah the gap is too big with bonnet etc etc and the wheels are terrible... I wanna try do a better job with the next car I build. ![]() |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Well I didnt model it too well to begin with... I used a meshsmooth of 3 (cos the front bumber and rear bumber holes were very dodgy when just using 2). But heres a pic from the back, I done know why the lights appeard square/ I dont even think the back looks remotely like an rx8. right now Im working in a mitsubishi eclipse, im going to try to a better job this time :) : |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Looks good. Your edges are nice and smooth, and your texture is ok realistic. And i can see that you have modelled the interior, nice. One thing could be your side mirrors, they look a bit to big. All you need now is a great render that makes the car pop, what render system are you using here? Maybe you wanna try Vray its pretty good... Cheers... |
