Welcome to the final part of the Ford Focus tutorial series. While this is the last part of modelling the body , there might be more tutorials on detailing and interior. This is just for those who want to smooth out their model ready for texturing and son on.

I'm forever in your debt

Hi Alex and Stryker,

I followed your tutorials and not only have i understood the whole concept of low poly modelling but i have suddenly got the idea about how poly modelling fits together. To prove my point I have attached two images which i did just using your tutorials. For the first one I went ahead to model the interiors as well. But the second one i'm just starting and you will understand how fast i'm able to go because of your tutorials. A thousand standing ovations to both you guys.

Many thanks

The second model i'm working on

Hi Guys,

The second model i'm working on. I'm still looking forward to your interior tutorials and most importantly texturing this car and rendering. After that I will almost call myself "Iamaverage".

Thanks again

Blueprints

I can't get the top blueprints of the ford focus wrc/wrx. I'm not an expert, so I got lost with the blueprints I got around the web. Can anyone tell me or mail me the blueprints used in the tutorial? TIA

I would like to do this tutor, but I don't know how to find parts 1 through 3. Can you help me out please?

Uh I figured it out, I just replace car4 with car, car2, and car3.

I notice this tutor is for Maya, but I use Max 6. I was able to figure out up to part four up to page Three. I don't how to do that in Max 6.
What is Poly-D? Is that Mesh smoth? How do you get rid of the rounded corners, I was not able to follow that.
Thank you for your help!
The first three parts of the tutor are great! If you want I can copy that to MAX 6 for those who use it.

This is my Miata I did using the tutor as a guide, and how far I got.
