It's an app called Word Lens. You use the IPhone camera, point it at the text, and it translates it on the fly. Here is their website with a video. http://questvisual.com/ Don't have an IPhone, so can't test the app myself, but looks promising. At first I thought it might have been a trick, but there are comments out there from users of the app. Kind of neat. Would have been helpful when we were in three different countries in Europe in September and only knew one or two languages out of three. Source |
