DC ACM/DC_SIGGRAPH Professional Development Seminars



All,DC_SIGGRAPH has partnered with DC ACM to offer some really great hands-on seminars this March! Register early for a discount!Please forward it to any friends or coworkers who might be interested.

Registration is now underway for the Spring 2010 Professional Development
Seminars. For this series, DC ACM is proud to partner with DC-SIGGRAPH,
the local chapter of the ACM's special interest group for computer
graphics professionals.

The seminars will be held at computer lab facilities at George Washington
University's School of Engineering and Applied Science.

The Registration Fee for any of the above seminars is $300.
The student rate is $150 per seminar (for full-time students only).

Early Registration Discount (by February 28, 2010): 10%

DC ACM Member Discount: 5%

The Washington Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)
started offering Professional Development Seminars in 1968.
Traditionally, these seminars have presented high-quality lectures and
hands-on learning on topics of current interest to the local IT community
for a relatively low cost. DC ACM is a nonprofit organization dedicated
to providing opportunities for meaningful connections between the area's
academics, professionals, and policymakers in the computer science and
information technology fields. The proceeds from the seminars support DC
ACM activities such as computer science lectures for the general public
and awards for junior and senior high school students at regional science
fairs.
