Small Fry!
The brand new short, which follows the misadventures of Buzz Lightyear at a fast food restaurant, premieres with
The Muppets later this month. In the story, Buzz must sit through a counseling session for neglected fast-food knick knacks after his kid’s meal look-alike deviously switches places with the full-sized space ranger.
"There’s something funny about having the action hero have to deal with something very mundane like escaping from an awkward social situation," says MacLane in the USA Today profile. Tim Allen, John Ratzenberger and Joan Cusack returns to voice the toy gang, joined by Jane Lynch as narcissistic Neptuna and Teddy Newton as the 3-inch Lightyear.
