Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Radia Labs' updated product line introduces two new material categories, namely roofing materials and planking, designed to be realistic and tile efficiently. Moreover, normal bump maps are now included in all products created by Radia Labs. Normal bumpmapping, a technology put to broad use recently in such hits as Doom 3 or Half-Life 2, allows for a finer level of detail on surfaces by using vector-based information for bump maps, in place of the traditional height-based information. Normal bump maps can also be used in major 3D packages with the appropriate shader to increase the level of detail of surfaces in your renderings. Radia Labs is to date the first publisher of 3D content to make the move to normal bump maps. This updated collection of textures now provides 3D artists with a variety of state-of-the-art materials for their creative needs.Additionally, all Radia Labs products now come also in a free, low-resolution but complete, version, to let our customers discover and get a better idea of the quality and originality of our products. Radia Labs products and free versions can be found online at the Radia Labs website, http://www.radialabs.com. Radia Labs, established in Paris, France, is a graphics publisher and studio founded in early 2004 to provide a whole new range of creative and quality products for the video game, CGI and general 3D industries.
