New TS3 Character: Meet Twitch!

It’s a man! It’s an insect!
No, it’s… both?

Twitch is the latest Toy Story 3 character to be rolled out by Disney/Pixar in their ongoing campaign! Although his character shot and description have recently been made available by SlashFilm, it has not yet been revealed who will be voicing the insect toy — or if he’ll speak at all.

You may remember Twitch from brief moments in the latest Toy Story 3 trailer. Among other appearances, his most memorable would probably be when Mrs. Potato Head is swept of her feet by the insectoid’s "powerful wings and impenetrable exoskeleton", causing a certain spud to get a little jealous. He’s also seen conspiring with the daycare group…

SlashFilm notes that Twitch has some similarities to the real life toys, He-Man and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I can definitely see that, especially with the "battle staff" and "chest armor" included. I don’t think he necessarily needs those weapons though; it seems his musculature isn’t just for show…
