Rep Power: 0  |  New Cars 2 Character: Meet John Lassetire!  Hmmm… the name John Lassetire sounds familiar…ABC News reports that Cars 2 is set to include a director cameo. In other words, John Lasseter will play himself (as a car) in Pixar’s upcoming sequel! Turns out this wasn’t the director’s call. In fact, Lasseter was suprised when he was asked to voice… himself. From the ABC News article: "I did not know about that, so I was a little surprised. I ended up voicing this character. It was just one line, but now I have a ‘Cars’ character. I’m very excited about that. He’s a good ol’ American pick-up truck, which I think is very appropriate for John Lassetire." said Lasseter Catch Lassetire’s one-liner and much, much more when Cars 2 premieres in the US on June 24, 2011.
