New 'Brave' Still: Family Reunion!

Pixar invites readers to ‘sit’ at Merida’s family dinner table in the latest still from the studio’s upcoming epic, Brave.

First appearing via USAToday.com, the freshly released shot features triplets Harris, Hubert and Hamish, Princess Merida, King Fergus and Queen Elinor. From the Queen’s expression, there is clearly a disturbance at mealtime.

Voiced by an all-star cast including Kelly MacDonald, Billy Connolly, and Emma Thompson, Brave promises to deliver excellent performances. That said, we should never lose sight of the animators, those who truly bring Pixar’s films to life; this brand new still exemplifies the team’s finesse in the art form.

Brave opens in North American theatres on June 22, 2012.
