"harddisk" method (-hd option) allows to render at high resolution. 2· sub-surface scattering (only in diffuse and plastic materials). 3· MXI (high-dynamic range Maxwell image) support for light emission. 4. Improved core: render speed can be 3-4 times faster. 5. Improved core: Less memory usage allows more complex scenes. 6. Improved core: dielectric materials work better. 7. Changed: "low quality" setting has been removed. 8.
