Nominations for the 84th Academy Awards were announced today with an honorable mention reserved for one of Pixar’s films.Disappointingly but unsurprisingly, Cars 2 didn’t garner any nods this year making it the first Pixar film not to land a spot in the Best Animated Feature category since its inception. On a positive note, Enrico Casarosa’s short, La Luna, is now in the running for Best Animated Short!
