DC_SIGGRAPH Presents SIGGRAPH Asia



When: Wednesday, February 8 from 7:30pm to 9:30pm

Happy New Year! DC_SIGGRAPH would like to invite you to the first meeting of 2012! To start the year off a little different, DC_SIGGRAPH will be showing the SIGGRAPH Asia Computer Animation Festival. The meeting will be on Wednesday, February 8 from 7:30 to 9:30pm at the US Patent and Trademark Office. The SIGGRAPH Video Reviews showcase some of the year’s most dazzling and innovative collection of submitted works selected by a distinguished jury of computer graphics experts and specialists .For those interested in SIGGRAPH Asia, SIGGRAPH Asia 2012 will be in Singapore from 28th November to 1st December. SIGGRAPH Asia 2011 was in Hong Kong, China and 2010 was in Seoul, Korea.

DC_SIGGRAPH would also like to invite you to submit nominations for SECRETARY of the Chapter. You must be a member of ACM and ACM SIGGRAPH to be Secretary. If you are interested in running for Chapter Secretary or to volunteer for membership on a committee, send your name and position to robertoortiz1@yahoo.com. Some positions include Sponsorship Chair and Refreshment Committee members.

Take yellow or blue line to the King Street station in Alexandria. Follow the pedestrian tunnel under Duke St.

The George Washington Masonic Memorial will be to your RIGHT, behind you, and the USPTO Headquarters in front of you.

The Madison East and Madison West Buildings are located on Dulany St. about 2.5 blocks from the Duke Street pedestrian tunnel. You can identify them by the central glass Atrium that joins the East and West buildings.

Parking is available in the East Garage , 551 John Carlyle Street, Alexandria, Virginia
Hourly and daily parking is available to visitors.
Hourly and daily parking is available from 5:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Monday through Friday , except Federal Holidays.
