Celebrating Pixar's 25th Anniversary!

On this day, twenty-five years ago, a small operation dubbed "Pixar" was established in the San Francisco Bay Area…

Can you believe it? It’s been so long! That’s not to say that I’ve been following Pixar since its inception. In fact, I can’t say that I’ve reached Pixar’s age, anyway.

What I can comment on, though, is Pixar’s legacy and the pleasure it has been to be a long time fan. From its founding as a hardware company to its current reign as the top animation— or dare I say— film studio of our time, "the Lamp" has redefined how we think of the medium.

Through its 11 feature-length masterpieces and countless shorts, the failed-computer-company-turned-mega-blockbuster-studio has touched hearts around the globe. Likewise, the company’s leadership has inspired thousands of people to pursue their dreams.

Here’s to twenty-five more years of breaking records, boundaries and popular conventions…
