Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Arroway Textures has just released "Textures - Edition One", a collection of professional multi-layered, seamless and extremely high-resolution textures on DVD. It contains 102 textures in highest resolutions of up to 64 megapixels. Nearly every texture consists of diffuse-, bump and specular/glossiness map - all available in lossless-compressed format (PNG24 / PNG8).The collection covers textures of the following categories:
Visit our website for a catalog with demo renderings and further information to every texture. Additionally, a preview version of every texture is available for free download. Price: 49 Euro (approx. 60 USD), world-wide shipping, available at www.arroway.de. What are Arroway Textures? high-resolution: One of the most important aspects of textures is the resolution they are available in. Only a higher resolution allows you to process them in various ways without loss of quality. Therefore Arroway textures are provided only in high-resolution from 3 up to 64 megapixel! This is why our textures are delivered only on DVD. All maps are stored in lossless compressed format (PNG24/PNG8). The average file size is about 20 megabyte. multi-layered: All textures consist of several maps. Generally every texture comes with diffuse, bump and specular level map. These advanced maps are the product of specifically developed tools that extract this information from the source material. Additionally every map is post-processed by hand. seamless: Arroway-Textures are mostly seamless tilable. close to reality: For us, a realistic impression of our textures is essential. Therefore we don't use any synthetic generated images. Instead our textures are built only from photographic material. How are Arroway-Textures made? Although Arroway-Textures are built of photographic material, they are not simple photographs of surfaces and materials. For every texture are needed up to 50 single photographs. All these pictures have to be stitched together by hand to get one really high resolution image. Many further steps are necessary to remove perspective distortion, to eliminate the seams and to extract the extended map information. Finally every map is post-processed by hand. It takes several hours and up to one Giggabyte of data to complete the work for one multi-layered texture.
