| Registered User | for an beginner definitely box m. i use face-to-face modeling (you'll get cleaner mesh than in BM) splines... kinda tricky and for starting could be more problematic than poly modeling

| Registered User | oukej... so. my standard process: cr8 one polygon or polygon ring around eye and then using edge subselection i start clonig faces (shift+move) and thus cr8ing new faces. I always start around eye but it is not a must. The pros for f2f proces is that you have nice meshflow from the beginning and you dont have to repair bed loops that whill (and they will) appear during box modeling. In splpine modeling im not really proficient, i can't give you proffesional advice to this.
