Vertex welding doesn't work in spline mode

In spline mode I've tried to weld vertices even added a edit spline modifier but no luck.
The weld button isn't blocked.
The fuse button is working.
I've selected the vertices that needed the welding.
Tried to make one vertex first and then weld them together.
I've looked in the help files and in some books I have but without any luck so far.
The rhino tutorial didn't help either.

So what am I doing wrong?

To weld vertices from a spline, all you have to do is place them in the same coordinates (or approximatelly yn the same place!!)... then, 3dsmax will ask you if you want to weld the vertices - All this is if it is the same spline...
If you want to put together several splines, you need to use the attach button first, and then start moving the vertices to weld...
Good Luck and hope it helps!!

Fortunatelly, Max is a pretty friendly program... most of the problem have rather easy or logical solutions...
I'm glad I could help... Hope to see some of your work soon!!
