Question Scales en 3ds v.5

can I put scales in a render' image or in a model, like autocad???

Scales?? Like fish scales?? Of course you can, all you have to do is create a texture that resembles the scales you want to apply...

Ahhh, you mean a precise scale... I don't think so... the best you can do is render a big image, and then use a program like AutoCAD or CorelDraw or Illustrator to change the image size by placing real size like to which you can scale the image to...
I hope I was clear enough with the explanation, if you don't think so, just reply and I will try to clarify it...

ya, ok ....
muy bien gracias, por estar interesado, pero creo que andamos por otro camino, y esto debido a mi pobre ingles, pero veo que eres de Argentina y hablas espaniol, asi que ahi te va, solo quiero poner las medidas en algun diseбo desde 3ds es decir, por ejemplo... Un cubo de 4cm x 4cm
sacar la imagen del cubo y ahi mismo poner esas medidas o sea las cotas.....
Lo que hago es poner esas medidas en corel, pero mi duda es esa se podra en 3DS .....?

Ok, ahora te entiendo mejor!!! En el 3DMax la funcion de acotado, no la conozco, es mas estoy casi seguro que no existe... capaz esta en el 3DViz, pero no te puedo asegurar nada, tendria que fijarme... Por lo pronto, los programas de 3D exclusivo no incluyen una funcion de acotado porque no fueron creados para produccion de planos, sino de images... lo que podes hacer es usar la funcion "Line" para crear las lineas de las cotas y despues agregarles el texto... para que el texto acompaбe la linea usas la funcion "Align"... eso es lo mejor que te puedo sugerir en este momento, me voy a fijar si encuentro alguna funcion de acotado pero no creo...
