Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Questions :D hey im new to 3ds max, i know how annoying new people are who dont know anything... however i have been using blender for ages, and have mastered character modelling with it, i switched to 3ds max as i thought it better,,, the program itself is better, it just a bit confusing... is there any body who can post a link to a place where i can download low poly faces etc? that i can tamper with to learn the different tools etc... when i make my own face, it looks awesome, but when i look @ it in perspective, the face is inside-out, i dont C how this can be true because i use front and side view to model (strip / poly modell) but if i rotate the view, it looks inside out,,, anyone know why? |

| Hallowed Devil | the inside out is a problem wid Max alotta tyms...so its better to model in back view, or rotate the reference image 180 degrees in front view 'fore startin to model..... as fr low poly 3D head models, search the internet, ye shall easily get alot ov 'em all the best :)

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | when i add a symmetry modifier,,, it gets mirrored as soon as i click back on editible poly, the mirror goes away and im left with 1 half of a face,,, lol ,,, then when i click back on symmetry it comes back, how do i make it stay there? |

| Hallowed Devil | yea, symmetry modifier has dat property, any modifier ye use above editable poly, or any modifier ye use above any other modifer, it goes off temporarily for ye to make changes conveniently in the modifier or in yer case, the editable poly below it......ye cn use the Mirror option(with instance) rather dan Symmetry mod fr makin it stay thr, den wen yer face is over, delete the mirror, n take anothr mirror wid "copy" option rather dan "instance", n attach the 2, or jus use Symmetry then :)
