Rep Power: 4 ![]() | to be completely honest they are all as good as each other its all dependent on what you are trying to show having never used Maxwell I cant comment but I can for V-ray and mental ray on the V-ray website I took this quote "V-Ray became rendering solution of choice for many 3D production houses due to its capability to deliver high quality photorealistic images in the shortest time." Both are good renderers, vray is quicker on things like interior GI scenes and also has faster motion blur and depth of field. Mental ray has more preset shaders and comes free with max so that's a bonus. |
