Help guys,

I purchased Max 5 a few months ago, all is well, anyway........................I was robbed a week ago, and the bastards took my Max 5 retail box (luckily i have the discs stored in a better place.) Anyway, I reformatted and installed Max remembering I dont have my box OR CD KEY. If anyone knows how I can get a hold of a CD Key for Max (relax.....it is the orginal OEM Discreet product, not a burnt copy) I would be very much appreciated. I have tried to contact discreet, but I only have the discs, nothing else, no box, manuals, recepts nothing, and im against Kazzaa and P2P servers. Any help would be welcomed.

but my problem is kinda different.. a friend of mine gave the max5 CDs to me but without the case too :(
he lost it.. same as you!

lol not that i don't beleive you guys, but its just that i never hear about such things happen with games and cheaper software... it always seems to be the big stuff that people get off KaZaA that u hear all the excuses about. Again, im not saying i don't beleive u, but u can't blaim me for being suspicious of it:p

as I said a friend gave to me the CD so I could install here.. now he_s asking for it back..

just other thing.. i have 16yo and even the educational version is damn expensive.. no way to buy it with my money..

Ok im going to be completely honest and level with you guys. I recntly bought a book for learning 3Ds Max 5 that i thought was suppossed to come with the program but it turns out i misread it and it only came with a tutorial disk. Now i am a item creator for IMVU and i need a good 3d modeling program for doing that i have blender but i cant make everything i would like to with it that and i cant make heads or tails of the program. I could not find a copy of 3DS Max 5 to buy and being unemployed there is no way i could or can afford to by the newest version...so i said all that to say this...i broke down and downloaded a torrent of it wich is something i never ever do. My problem is the person who made the torrent did not include the serial number and cd key. Im sorry if im necroing this post but can any of you help me out?
