Need Help with my blueprints!

Hi,

I'm trying to follow some tutorial modeling an object.

So far, here's a list of what I have done:

1. Create Plane
2. Created a map for my blueprint
2.a Assigned my map to my plane
2.a.1 Color set to 100
3. Set my plane to UVW Map
3.a Set my UVW to Bitmap Fit
4. Frozen my planes and made sure that the gray part doesn't show

Now..
When I started modelling the object, I noticed that my images went blurred and fuzzy.
The lines are crooked and some are missing.

Do you guys have any Idea on what causes this or any solution to make it better?

Any response will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Nailee

I have already gone to Customize/Preferences/Viewports/ConfigureDriver and
check 'Match Bitmap Size as Closely as Possible' but still this is what I get...

it's easy

just go to customize and choose preference and go to viewports and configure driver
and check box match bitmap size and make it 1024
and download texture and check match bitmap size the same and change 512

and rest 3dsmax

that's it >>>

The way I do it is this way-Download the blueprints then make a plane. Then go to the material editor and choose bitmap on the diffuse color. When I see the picture that I got I just hold the mouse on it for a sec and it will type what size it is.For example its 653x728.I make a plane with the size 728x653 (its always backwards).Thats it.Its always fit and u dont have to put UVW map

Bam's correct. in my opinion this is probably the best and quickest way to use blueprints, I also find it easier to do it this way instead of making the image a background image in max
