make sea or river water foam

I want to make sea or river water foam but I don't know how to do it.

How many time do you use 3dsmax? There are s lot of plugins, which allow to create a foam, ripple or other nature effect. For example: Dreamscape, fume, phenix. Dreamscape for create cky, water, foam.

about 3 years but I sometime use by 3ds max

I hardly ever used dreamscape but I can't create foam , I see very tutorial about this plagin but thay did said : "the foam at the Dream scape can't solve this problem"

I don't used fume and phenix

I want to make coastal waves as natural as possible with regard to they size shape and foam. As shape of, and foam in the coastal waves are different some those in waves further away from coast, plug-in (Dream scape for 3ds max 2008) doesn't differentiate between these two kind of waves.
