Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Low Max I recently got into 3ds max and its capabilities. I found LowMax recently and started doing some cycles. I have made a decent walk cycle and am currrently working on a run cycle. However, Im confused on its purpose. Can you connect it to a model of your own? Is it much better than creating your own rig? Any other info about lowmax would be great. I havent found much information on it online. Searching these forums brings up 0 topics when searching for lowmax. Please give me any info or tips you think i will find important or links for help with Lowmax. Thanks in advance |

| Hallowed Devil | Hey pal. I myslef used LowMax for my Animation showreel :D LowMax is a model of its own; it can't be connected to another model, coz its not a Biped thats found in 3Ds Max :P . It actually has no rigging bones in it, just polygonal objects connectd to each other in a suitable form thru IKs, FKs and stuff. Well, everything has its own pros & cons. Though LowMax gives much of an ease on lots of pains taken to make your own characters, their rigs, and then to skin them. But on the other hand, creating your own rig gives you customized flexibility. You can make extra bones, move the body parts in more ways, etc etc. But frankly, I don't know if you'll be able to rig LowMax in your own way All the Best, anyways :)
