Learning the basics

Hely guys,
i want to start learning 3ds max, but this isnt that easy as i thought. Before i can do the tutorials i should know the basics of the programm.

like videocopilot.net/basic/ for after effects.

maybe u guys know some really good stuff for noobies ?

Google for 3ds max tutorials.

You should start with basics like modelling, poly-modelling and so on. Then texturing and then lighting.
