Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I need help. I have been using maya for a couple of years. I am now learning max, becuase it is better for architecture. When I started using max, the navigation tools( i.e. to rotate, zoom, and move) for the cameras worked fine. I went back to maya for a little bit to finish a project and when I came back they did not work. I would click and drag to rotate and move and they did not work. zooming still works though. I tried reseting the config, but that did not help. If any one has any ideas they would be much apriciated. Thanks ![]() |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | you may have accidentally locked the object, You may have hit a hotkey or something. I've done it myself a few times. If thats the case, try just hitting spacebar. Pretty sure thats the hotkey. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | are you using hot keys to do the rotating and all that? if so you should try toggel the little button up on the tool bar on and of to see if it makes a diffrence. my rotating often gett stuck then i need to toggel that button off. the button is a square with a check mark inn it. dont have max up so i cant explain it better ^^ ye and "space" button on the key board locks objeckt. you can see if your lockt or not on the little lock picture down on the screen....kinda middscreen all the way down ^^
