Question having trouble with a 300Mb 3ds max file

Hi everybody, i am having trouble with a 300Mb 3ds max file, i can not render it, and i don't have enough RAM memory to make it..... can anybody help me finding a way to reduce the size of this file.....thanks a lot

if you have many same objects do them as instance (it will save you plenty of file size)
if you don't have enough ram try to render with mental ray and chcek conserve memory
if you have one object that is so big the only option i can think of is optimising it... if yo manage to reduce polygon cout yuo will speed up rendering and memory loadout

Hi milki, thanks for reply, i am still having the problem becuase i already use objects as instance and actually i use mental ray as renderer, i am going to try optimising objects........i will tell you if it works ....thanks a lot.....................bye
