Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Extruding problem Hi, I am currently migrating from Lightwave 9.0 to 3ds max 9. I am working on a tutorial to get me learning, but the tutorial is on lightwave. Here is the link: http://www.newtek.com/products/light...and/index.html I first created a PLANE, and then I adjusted the divisions (cutting). Now I want to extrude the hand so that I get a 3d hand... so I hit shift+e, and every thing seems to work ![]() ![]() But when I move a polygon from the side I just extruded, it doesnt seem to be "attached" to the other polygon ![]() What is the problem? I would have a 2 solutions: -Is it possible to tell Max to weld all the vertices that have the same coordonates? (in my opinion, it would be a very, very profitable plugin) -or is it possible to convert the polygon I just made to spline? because it seems to work way better with splines. thank you |

| SkoleSlasken ![]() | holding down shift alsow copys. so, if you select some polys hold down shift and move it you wil make a copy of that polygones and when you release you will gett 3 options copy as a own object or as a element or cansel :P
