Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I've just started on a scene of a bridge over a river with the valleys of terrain.The thing is how do i create the terrain to form a valley under the bridge, cause the bridge i can make.Pliz help. |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | This is only one one to do it, but it is the way I always do it. Use a detailed plane for the ground, then apply a displace modifier to it. In the displace modifier, click the "none" button in bitmap images. Select an appropriate bitmap, and all of your terrain will be made, minus the texturing. You can use the same bitmap as the mix map for the material you apply to the ground, to make the high ground one color and the low ground another. Example map: http://southport.jpl.nasa.gov/cdrom/...C/TOPOMAP1.GIF Search "height" or "displace", or "bump" map in Google, or just paint your own. Post again if you need more help or a more detailed explaination.
