Hello,
i am french so i will doo fast:
i don't succeed in doing this, the rectangle can't be cancled... how do you do?

If i understand you, what you did was "union", so both operands keep showing. It is the option in boolean panel.
You should do "subtraction (A-B)" or "subtraction (B-A)", depending which object was selected in the moment of applying boolean operation.
So: select "queen", apply boolean, "pick operand B", select box, check "subtraction (A-B)" button.
Be sure that in "display/update" panel (below) is checked "result", and at "update" panel "auto" is checked.
