Rep Power: 0 ![]() | bicycle chain I'm modeling a Canondale Prophet and I'm am almost to the chain, My question is what is the best possible way to model it as far as getting it to follow a path, would it be to follow a spline and just array it or should I use reactor for this, If I need to use reactor, could please be as detailed as possible or point to me to a tutorial that will help me with that, Im not really that familiar with reactor. Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I know you can make an articulated chain with bones, but i'm not sure how you would animate it around the gears thou. I almost worked out how to do it with the reactor rope modifier. I made a rope that is contrained around 2 discs but I cant work out how to join it into a loop, it keeps splitting up into a single strand. If someone could tell me how to do that I could proberbly make you a tutorial. |
