Animation question

I am trying to animate a ball hanging at the end of two ropes. (so it swings in one direction when you hit it.) I have reactor but im not exactly sure how to set it up. If anyone can help or has a different way to animate it, i could use the help. thanks

What for you use reactor? Animation is set in 4 frame.
1 frame - the ball at the left deviates upwards
2 frame - falls downwards
3 and 4 - to repeat with a ball on the right!

I got it to work in reactor and its quite fun to play with in the real time window. I spent a few hours trying everything and finally figured it out. It now acts just like the real thing.
