Rep Power: 3   | Tell us why your 3ds max is crashing in the 'Tech Support and Suggestions' section of the forum with what version your running and your system specs and any (if at all) error messages you recieive. i personally probably won't be able to help lol, but some others might, Good luck. |

Rep Power: 3 | this used to happen to me in 3ds max 7, didnt know what caused it, back then i was running on a terrible computer tho. i got 3ds max 9 on my new one and so far so good. what are your current specs? you could even try something like compatibility mode and see if that helps. like i said im amateur at tech problems but its worth a go  |

Rep Power: 7  | is this happening only during work in max? niever in other progs? 1. try to reinstal max (without any 3rd party plugins installed) if still occours 2. try to test your ram for stability and errors if still occours 3. reinstall win and do 1. point if still occours 4. smash your computer and buy new on a do 1. point

Rep Power: 0 | yeah its only happening in max, my 64 bit student edition of maya, that i got with my university account works fine, my ram seems fine and tests ive done on it havent came out with anything wrong. ill give a reinstall ago tomorrow just gonna have to make sure to move my scenes and maps so i save them unlike last time when i accidently lost them as i didnt move them. im thinkg of doing a full upgrade of my system anyway just need to get some money so i can start on it |
