to have the program, then purchase it! Everything else is not
legal!

The easy way to get 3DS MAX in 5 steps, by DiggerSF:

Step 1: Get some friends, if you look in the right place, chances are one of them has 3ds.

Step 2: Spend hours at their home playing with the program and forceing your new "Friend" to teach it to you threatening "I won't be your friend anymore" if he refuses.

Step 3: Get some people to hire you to do a simple 3D job and use your friends software, insisting that you are "trying to learn!"
