Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Mazda CX-9 Hi!!!! we proudly presents the first snapshots of the new CX-9 for Mazda USA. :clapping: This project was a lot of fun. From contacting Mazda Hiroshima and Tokyo in Japan for getting blueprints(which we didnt got), mission status and coordination with our client in Phoenix, to start a new co-operation with my friend Bernhard Rieder.www.bernhardrieder.com  You can read more about the project on my website @ www.michaelseidl.com in a couple of days a making of(shaders, light setup, hdri, studiosetup) gets published by the 3dcreative magazine, after that i will post the tut on my website, for those who are interested in.... i am only allowed to post my private test render, but you can see the final result @ www.mazdausa.com, just browse to the CX 9 Car ok here are a couple of quick test render, to see if the shader work.... :lame: ok and here you see a small testanimation, rendered with vray @1024 due the original file size of 3 gig i had to compressed it down to 12mb, thats why the quality is not that great. will take some time to load, because there is also a sound included. http://michaelseidl.com/images/Mazda/mazda.mov Project overview is published on my website ok, thanks for viewing and best regards from Austria Michael Last edited by goose1982; 03-11-2007 at 03:50 PM. |

| the model look great, the shaders also. the tires logos are a bit too extruded i think, they're like 2 cm. when in the film you show the seats the image deforms on the edges as if you have applied some lens effect that wasn't there before, nor after. other than that all looks perfect including the animation. cheers |
