Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Mapping for DX 9? Does any one have any mapping experiance in Direct X? I'm just getting started and was wondering how to implement it. Do you just model a map in Max and export it to a .x file? What can I do about keeping polygon counts low. Thanks. |

| Forum Moderator ![]() | well...its better to bake the texture (render to texture) and animator/modeller should keep in mind to do lowpoly when modelling because the lower the better...and its better to export in x file. sometimes i use 'texporter' to do uv/unwrap texture or baking texture...good luck. |
