as I'm not regular forum poster I would gladly announce one of my projects that has been finished by now for you, as it is very close related to your hobby/work.

The web page of this project is currently available on the website of theproject - google for "otte engine" and one of the first links should be it - it can be also used for real time visualisation of 3D models (mainly architectonal) with very high rendering quality (ambient occlusion, global illumination, reflections and refractions, etc.).
