| Registered User | saved image darker than the preview in max render window. I have atached the saved image and the screenshot of the "rendered frame window" of max. I dont know why this is happening.and it is totally spoiling my renders. can someone help me? I am trying to render a sequence and have set max to automatically save each frame as jpeg when it is rendered.(currently only the calc-phase so that I can see and know if theres some problem) and I noticed that the images tht are being saved on my hdd are much darker than they appear in max. please help.I am using vray. |

| Registered User | thanks but no thanks...well I found out why they were looking different. I had enable gamma correction on. and when I turn it off, the final image is exactly as dark as the preview....but now I decide I want the final image to be bright like the preview when the gamma correction was enabled. how can I do that now? any clues u guys? |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I don't know exactly what you mean by 'preview'. But if it's the 'preview' in your environments & effects window, try to turn off the exposure control if it's enabled. Otherwise post an image with your render settings of Vray. Yuri. |
