ive been trying to recreate the cadburys advert of the gorilla drumming for some time now. but ive really become stuck when it comes to hair and fur. when i add it with this image. it doesnt render. if i switchit to mr prim then it renders but renders in a completly different colour. why is it mental ray is so useless when it comes to hair and fur. does anyone have any ideas on how to add this. ive tried multiple passes as well. nothing seems to work.

also when i render with a bigger output file than 800 by 600 the hair and fur wont render all the way to the top. it will just stop
