| Lightwave Enthusiast | If you were to get Lightwave, you wouldn't need another program! :) It comes standard with motion blur, raytracing, radiosity, caustics, ik, wicked anti-aliasing, volumetrics (with anti-aliasing), sky tracer (volumetric sky render)hyper voxels... and much more. Also, it has the ability to "bake" any surface with or with out shadows actually on the models for faster rendering, and it's rendering engine is not only fast, but no other renderer comes close! Pus, it's cel shader allows you to render anime! Visit Newtek.com for more info! Last edited by Matt_D_C; 01-28-2004 at 01:01 AM. |

| productions | lol solidshadow ur right, but there are other threads running with the same question, check them out. Now to the dude who promotes lightwave, I wanna know if lightwave is so awesome, then why do people use 3dmax. Im not challenging you, but Im considering lightwave as a possible product to own, but I need to know how it is with modelling and other things as well, how does it compare to Max. |
