Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Daylight and Mental Ray Does anyone know what is causing this problem? I'm using Daylight and Mental Ray. I also used the Arch & Design material on the water. http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f1.../water0000.jpg Last edited by josalgarcia; 01-25-2007 at 01:56 PM.. Reason: Typos |

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | mmm.. very odd. never seen anything like it before. are you using the top of a cylinder for the water surface ? sometimes max produces bugs on the main file you're using. you can prevent this by closing max and restarting a new scene and just merge whatever you have saved on the main file. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Yes I'm using the top of a Cylinder. It's weird, because if I use the scanline renderer I don't get that. But of course the light suks. I'll try what you suggested. Thanks for the tip. |
