Rep Power: 5 ![]() | your welcome, it sounded like a dx10 issue i was having. now that your system info is there maybe someone else might be able to help. wish you the best. also my 3ds 2009 crashes now and then for what seems like no reason so i may be having a issue too. it hasn't really bothered me that much. my system specs are pretty much the same other than i use xp64bit and vista64. |

| Member | How many polygons are there in your scene and is there any reflective / refractive material used in the scene? If you have high polygon count and you are using lots of reflective / refractive material in your scene, then your Max might crash when you try to render it as those will use up lots of RAM and PC resource. My advice for you if you want to render a big scene but don't want to lose the quality is by using region render and 'build' up the final scene in any image editing software. So, you have to divide it into few 'pieces' to render, then combine them to get your final image. Thanks. |
