Unwrap Seam selfmade? [3ds MAX]

Hey there guys !

I want to unwrap my swords blade so I can render the UVW (to edit it in Photoshop and make a perfect texture)

But my problem is that when I add the "Unwrap UVW" modifier to my blade the seam looks like this (green) - Planar / Cylindrical / ... Map isn't exactly what I want - I tried a lot of variation of them aligning to differrent axes etc. But I think when I seam it by myself I'll get the unwrap I want!

(I want to unfold the Blade like butterfly wings - So I have the front and backside of the blade at once - with planar etc. I just get the upper part of the blade map)

But I want to delete this one and add a unwrap seam by myself !
How can I delete them? I know how to add it - the downer part of the "Parameters" rollout (Edit Seams etc...)
