Technical Question

I am in a bit of a pickle here. I have to make a graphic for a news show coming out of my office that will be played across 3 monitors. The native resolution for this setup is 3072x768 with the matrox triple head to go device. I have rendered an 8 second sample and it played extremely choppy. I used uncompressed avi because I thought I may be able to convert it to wmv or something for the computer to play easily. Unknown to me, adobe premiere will only edit in a format that is recognized by a tv (SD PAL/NTSC or HD). If anyone could help me in my efforts I would greatly appreciate it.
